What is MockIT?

MockIT is a platform that allows users to participate in practice technical interviews in various technologies. Our recruiters are experienced programmers or technical recruiters. We will help you gain confidence during qualification interviews. We can also assist you in finding your first job.

Who exactly conducts the interview? Are they recruiters from real IT companies?

Our recruiters are experienced specialists in the field of IT, both programmers and technical recruiters. They have extensive experience in conducting technical interviews and know exactly what employers expect.

Can the report from my interview not be added to the MockIT report database?

Sure! Write to us about it within 24 hours of receiving the report and it will never be added to our database. Of course, if you ever find that you want to remove reports that have already been added to the database you can report it by email. In either case, contact is made through the info@mockit.pl inbox.

How long will I have to wait for the report after the interview?

Our recruiters have 48 hours to send out reports after the interview.

Can I use MockIT if I'm not confident in my skills?

Of course! MockIT is the perfect place to test your skills in a safe environment, receive valuable feedback, and learn what else you can work on. Regardless of your level of experience, you can always find something for yourself.

Is it possible to redo the interview if I'm not satisfied with my performance?

Of course! Our goal is to help you prepare for real recruitment interviews. If you feel that you can present yourself better, you can always sign up for another MockIT interview.

What's the point of demo interviews at MockIT?

A few facts about our demo interviews:

This is a free, abbreviated technical mock interview with MockIT developer-recruiters. Such an interview lasts about 25 minutes and produces an abridged version of our feedback.
This is a great opportunity to meet MockIT recruiters and check the quality of our services.
You can only arrange it once.
You can only arrange it if you have a special promo code for the demo interview.
They are time-limited - in future they will disappear from the MockIT offer.
Feedback reports from demo interviews can also go into the MockIT report database. This gives you the chance to receive a job offer from the partners MockIT works with. However, you can always opt out of having your report included in our database.
We do not issue certificates from demo interviews

I don't fully understand what a 'mock technical interview' is.

It is a technical interview identical to what you will have to face during a real recruitment process. You will experience the same questions, recruiter strategies, and emotions as during job interviews. We aim to replicate real conditions as closely as possible for technical interviews.

How can MockIT help me get a job?

We collaborate with various employers who have access to our report database. If you impress them, they will definitely contact you! Remember that for this to be possible, the report from your interview must be added to the database. Otherwise, you won't have the opportunity to get a job offer through MockIT.

What does the feedback report I receive after the interview consist of?

The feedback report is a standardized, descriptive summary of the practice technical interview you have completed. Each report will extensively describe aspects of the interview such as:

technical skills demonstrated,
problem-solving approach,
communication skills

Each report also includes personalized suggestions on how you can improve your skills. In addition to the fixed elements of the report, each recruiter has space to write additional comments and observations.

Is the recording of my interview shared anywhere?

No, recordings are not shared with employers or other third parties.

If I'm only interested in a specific area of a chosen technology, can I focus the interview only on that?

Yes, all interview preferences should be placed in the comments field. If your goal is to only assess, for example, algorithm skills, feel free to let us know.

How can I prepare for a mock technical interview?

How does the referral programme work in MockIT?

The referral programme will allow you to get 100% reimbursement from your call. Here are some facts:

Once you have had your interview, we will email you your unique referral code.
Pass it on to your friends. They will be able to enter it in the last step of arranging their calls.
We provide reimbursement in 3 tranches. For the first person, you will receive a 20% refund. The next person is an additional 30%. When the last person signs up for an interview you will receive the remaining 50%.
You can invite up to 3 people using one code.
You cannot use your own code when arranging your interviews.
The code can only be used for full MockIT interviews.
Until your code has been fully used, you will not receive a new code when you sign up for an interview at MockIT again.
